Pre-launch notice
Privacy
Draft updated August 3, 2026
It explains the website we can describe today and the privacy direction for the Again app. It must be reviewed and replaced with final, jurisdiction-specific language before public app launch.
What this website collects
If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit so we can send product updates and possible early-access invitations. The form hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to prevent abuse and deliver the form.
What we do not use on this site
This pre-launch site does not intentionally use advertising trackers, behavioral advertising, or a public user profile. If analytics are added later, this notice should be updated before those tools are enabled.
Planned app privacy principles
- Family stories, recordings, and generated audio are intended to be private and available only to authorized family members inside Again.
- The product is not intended to offer public sharing, audio export, a public story feed, or advertising based on a child’s activity.
- An adult must explicitly authorize creation of a synthetic version of their own voice and should be able to withdraw that authorization.
- The parent’s original recording is preserved; generated voice is intended only for short, controlled responses, transitions, or repairs.
- Parents should be able to delete stories, recordings, transcripts, and authorized voice models.
Children’s privacy
Again is being designed for parent-managed family use. Children should not create their own accounts, invite others, or change account permissions. The app, its data practices, and its vendors still require dedicated legal and policy review before launch. This notice does not claim compliance with COPPA or any other specific law.
Service providers and retention
The final app may use carefully selected providers for secure hosting, transcription, story mapping, and limited voice generation. Only data needed for a task should be sent, retention should be minimized, and final provider details should be disclosed before launch.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails using the link in any message. A dedicated privacy contact and request process must be added before public launch.
